Pacific Power Source Europe is expanding its standard IPR series with the new Powerblock configurations for AC and AC/DC applications up to 1 MVA. The configurable, modular and scalable power rack systems support unidirectional and regenerative AC/DC power supplies and electronic loads, allowing customers to increase power when needed with minimum effort.
Pacific Power Source Europe’s IPR series provides fully configurable power rack systems dedicated to the integration of its AC and AC/DC power supplies and electronic loads series; AFX, ADF, AGX, RGS and RLS. With a unique choice of modules, integrated cabinets, power distribution units (PDUs) and system options, all components are specified, assembled and validated in-house, ensuring a safe system ready to go.
IPR Powerblocks extend the series beyond 1 MVA
The new IPR Powerblocks extend the series to high-power test applications beyond 1 MVA. By combining multiple 37U racks into an integrated system, these configurations meet test requirements beyond the capacity of an individual rack.
Flexible configurations, scalable power
Each rack integrates a dedicated Power Distribution Unit (PDU) for internal power distribution and safety management. Standard PDUs are available from 63A to 250A in two versions: V1 the basic one with a mains switch, and V2 with additional emergency-stop circuit and redundant contactors and safety relays.
Configurable for single-, split-, three-phase or multi-channels applications, the IPR series offers modular and scalable solutions tailored for each customer’s test requirements. Additional racks enable plug-and-play future power extensions, optimizing customer investments.
“Customers can size their test system around today’s requirements and expand its power as their needs grow. The modular design allows them to adapt to new test requirements while retaining their existing equipment,” says François Epp, Managing Director of Pacific Power Source Europe GmbH .
True integration, faster installation
The integrated rack design reduces wiring requirements and eases on-site commissioning for a quick Power On of the system. Designed, assembled and tested in Germany according to EN 60204-1, the IPR systems are CE compliant.
High-power testing across industries
IPR Powerblocks meet demanding high-power test requirements across a large range of applications: e-mobility and charging infrastructure, AI data center power and cooling systems, avionics and defense and battery and energy storage applications.
