PCIM 2026 Power Management solutions covering the entire data-center architecture
Sponsored by
At PCIM 2026, Mersen will present a data‑center‑dedicated portfolio addressing power management and thermal constraints across the entire infrastructure, from the grey room to the white room and down to rack and server level. The solutions shown at the booth are designed to support rising power density, higher DC voltages and the need for reliable, scalable, modular architectures.
Busbar solutions will be highlighted as a key enabler of next‑generation data‑center power architectures, where busway systems are increasingly becoming the standard for scalable distribution. As operators move toward direct connections from busway to rack to simplify installation and increase flexibility, Mersen supports these designs with application‑specific bus bars engineered for direct rack integration. The offer includes laminated busbars for high‑current AC Power Distribution Units (PDU) (60 A and above) and DC busbars for emerging 800 VDC architectures. Mersen’s engineering teams support customers at every stage, helping accelerate the adoption of AI-datacenter architecture.
Thermal challenges are addressed through cooling solutions. On the cooling side, Mersen supports the industry’s shift from traditional air cooling toward direct liquid cooling (DLC) at chip level, enabling effective heat removal for high‑performance and AI workloads. In parallel, capacitor technologies are designed to support the evolution of Power Supply Units (PSU) requirements within the rack, evolving from 3.3 kW single‑phase units up to 30 kW three‑phase systems, contributing to stable and efficient operation across rectifiers, UPS systems and energy‑storage interfaces.
MERSEN AT PCIM 2026
Engineered protection and thermal performance for advanced power-applications
Mersen’s offer includes high‑speed fuses for power converters, UPS systems, energy‑storage systems and Power Supply Units (PSU), providing selective protection for high‑power applications, including 800 VDC architectures increasingly adopted in modern data centers. Beyond the solutions exhibited at PCIM, Mersen’s data‑center solutions also includes surge protection devices, completing its comprehensive approach to electrical protection and power management.
Visit Mersen at PCIM in Nuremberg from 9 to 11 June 2026 in Hall 9, Stand 534.
All along the show, Mersen invites data‑center designers, operators and equipment manufacturers to discuss real‑world power‑management challenges, from high‑voltage DC distribution at rack level to thermal constraints driven by increasing compute density. Experts at the booth will be available to explain how protection, distribution, capacitors and cooling technologies can be combined to support scalable, high‑availability data‑center architectures, for today and in the years ahead.
