SDB0530WT | How Diotec's Schottky Diode Simplifies Multiple Circuit Functions in Compact Power Designs

As electronic control systems become increasingly compact, engineers are under constant pressure to reduce component count without compromising performance or reliability. A third function is transient current steering. During switching events or electrical disturbances, the diode can safely divert short-duration surge currents to the supply rail or ground.
