India's power electronics market is experiencing rapid growth due to increasing demand for energy-efficient solutions across various sectors, particularly with the integration of renewable energy and the expansion of the automotive and consumer electronics industries.

The upcoming edition of the conference and expo will serve as a powerful platform uniting technology leaders, engineers, policymakers and innovators who are shaping the country’s next-generation electronic systems.

Increased adoption of electric vehicles and a surge in devices like smartphones and laptops are driving the need for advanced power electronics components. According to IMARC Group’s observations, the market is expected to reach USD 4.3 billion by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 5.28%. This growth is further supported by the industry’s efforts to promote sustainability and miniaturisation, efficient technology and making the market outlook highly dynamic with strong future opportunities.

This first edition arrives at a pivotal moment as India intensifies its efforts toward energy efficiency, e-mobility, renewable energy integration and semiconductor self-reliance. PCIM Asia New Delhi 2025 aims to accelerate this transition by fostering knowledge-sharing and cross-sector collaboration between academia, industry and government agencies.

The debut edition will feature an impressive lineup of over 120 distinguished speakers representing research institutes, technology pioneers and industry giants, as well as 50+ exhibitors showcasing advanced technology in power, electronics and energy. The two-day conference program features plenary talks, expert panels and technical sessions designed to explore the latest developments in drives, power semiconductors, electromobility, energy storage and grid integration. The conference will cover technical papers and poster presentations discussing semiconductors, power module integration, design optimisation and reliability assessment—crucial for accelerating India’s engineering innovation capabilities. Dedicated sessions on e-mobility infrastructure, renewable grid interfaces and energy storage systems will facilitate exchange on practical challenges and scalable solutions.

Poster presentations from young researchers will further underline India’s growing academic contribution to the global power electronics community. The sessions promise to be a blend of visionary discussions and empirical insight, advancing both theory and application.

The conference is supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Ministry of Power (MoP), acknowledging the event’s role in advancing national policy priorities for innovation and manufacturing. Additionally, key technical associations such as the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (INEMI) and the India Printed Circuit Association (IPCA) are lending their support, emphasising the cooperation between global and domestic stakeholders in driving technology adaptation.

As part of the renowned PCIM global series, PCIM Asia New Delhi 2025 complements long-standing conferences held in Europe and China. The New Delhi edition will localise the brand’s international expertise to address regional market needs, ensuring technology transfer, skill development and business networking opportunities tailored to India’s fast-evolving ecosystem.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with global technology leaders and explore potential collaborations across R&D, system design and component manufacturing.
