COOLING

New chip cooler for power semiconductors developed

Especially when developing flat housings, engineers are faced with a challenge when it comes to the choice of a suitable cooling concept for power electronics. Thought should be given to this issue already during the concept phase as it may prove difficult to solve this problem if there is very little space for dissipating heat. SEPA EUROPE has developed a smart solution for such requirements, namely the HZ210 – an in-house development that is available in different dimensions.

How to get power supply for IoT devices right

One familiar challenge many developers face in the design of internet of things (IoT) devices is reliable, long-lasting power for the device. Even if you select the perfect ultra-low-power microcontroller and do everything else right, the wrong choice of power source can cripple device performance and ultimately cause your device to fail.

CTSD PRECISION ADCS – PART 3

Inherent alias rejection made possible

In this article, we will illustrate a theory to explain the inherent alias rejection of the CTSD ADC architecture. We also showcase how signal chain design can be simplified and discuss the extended advantages of CTSD ADCs. Finally, we will introduce new measurement and performance parameters to quantify alias rejection.
