The HSI6 can be configured as an ITB (inverter test bench) in combination with the FPGA system. This can be used during the development and production of an inverter to run tests on the power electronics. The real operating points in the fundamental oscillation behavior of an EM will be reproduced. With the HSI6 as an electronic load (Power-HIL), mechanical parts can be completely eliminated. All that is required is a coupling network between the device under test and the HSI6. The HSI6 simulates the basic behavior of an electrical machine so that the test object can be tested at all operating points with significantly less effort.
