Battery Technology - BW 20
In the field of battery technology, Li-ion cells have established themselves on a broad front. Our systems cover the complete range of applications from cell production to wiring and battery contacting. For Li-ion cells, this includes ultrasonic welding of thin-walled aluminium and copper foils up to high-current contacting and conduction elements. Aluminium/copper mixed joints are also possible.
The BW20 was developed for welding new requirements in batteries. Up to 150 foils can be welded at the anode and cathode. All combinations of aluminium and copper are possible.
