Support OptoTech Optikmaschinen GmbH, one of the leading suppliers of optics machines. We offer the widest range of machines and processes for the processing of precision optics and ophthalmic optics worldwide.

Here you are in demand:

  • You develop and design machine tools for the processing of optical components using 3D CAD - this includes in total optical machines, optical measuring devices as well as optoelectronic assemblies.
  • What does this mean in detail? You will design components and systems and carry out the technical calculations and calculations.
  • You will be an important interface between the project participants and, if necessary, also with the customer.
  • Depending on the size of the project, you will work in a team or independently. In any case, you will be involved in the early stages of development, as
  • your expertise is also required in the context of concept and feasibility studies.
  • You will work closely with our upstream suppliers - for example, when it comes to selecting controllers, electronic drives and pneumatic or hydraulic assemblies.
  • It goes without saying that in your role you will also follow technological developments on the market and keep an eye on which innovations can take us even further. 

What you bring to the table:

  • Ideally, you have completed a degree in engineering with a focus on mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
  • You have several years of professional experience in the development and design of machine tools or in general mechanical engineering.
  • It is particularly important that you have already been able to gain knowledge in the subject areas of precision engineering, microsystems technology and/or optics.
  • You are familiar with working in modern 3D CAD systems - prior knowledge of Siemens PLM or NX is a plus, but not a must.
  • Last but not least: you want to continue to develop and learn. If you can't yet cover all points, that's no problem - we'll train you as needed and promote your strengths.
