• General or subject-linked university entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification
• Flexibility and willingness to work
• Interest in technology, machines and optics
• Very good understanding of mathematics and physics
• Good foreign language skills are an advantage
• Teamability
• Vocational training in the electrical or machining field is desirable, but not a requirement.
