PORON® 40V0 Foam

PORON® 40V0 foam has been specifically formulated to meet all requirements under the UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Well-suited for Data Center and HEV markets, this material offers advanced sealing capabilities while meeting rigorous specifications.

Features

  • UL94 V-0 certified
  • Thicknesses available from 3.0 to 10.0 mm (0.118 to 0.394 in.)
  • Density of 176 kg/m3 (11 lb./ft3)
  • Halogen-Free (1): Produced with non-halogenated flame retardant materials for compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Siloxane-Free (2): Polyurethane chemistry mitigates the risk of siloxane migration for electrical compliance


(1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) defines "halogen-free" materials as those containing less than 900 ppm of chlorine or bromine, and less than 1500 ppm of total halogens, as outlined in standard IEC 61249-2-21.

(2) D3-D10 free per ASTM F2466-10 (non-detected limit = 5 ppm)
