This battery solution offers direct connection possibilities for a straightforward installation process, eliminating the need for component replacement or changes to the existing AC wiring of your solar system. The SICW20C120 from Diotec Semiconductor https://lnkd.in/eQKpvXhw is a 2x 10 A / 1200 V Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diode in TO-247 package, offering energy savings in solar inverters, electric car (EV) chargers and telecom power supplies. SiC Schottky offers almost zero discharge time (the equivalent of reverse recovery for Silicon diodes) and helps thus to reduce switching losses in both the diode and the IGBT. They can be produced for high voltage levels like the here required 1200 V.
