Safer Driving with Automatic Mirror Adjustment Technology - Stable Voltage with Diotec's MM3Z5V6-AQ Zener Diode
The latest automatic mirror adjustment systems in cars use artificial intelligence (AI) to adjust the position of the mirrors based on various factors such as vehicle speed, road conditions, and driver behavior.
The automatic mirror adjustment technology recognizes the driver's head position and viewing direction with an accuracy of 10 mm and automatically adjusts the position of all corresponding mirrors to give the driver the best possible view of the vehicle. This minimizes blind spots, for example. Once this "recognition" has been set, the system remembers the driver's face, and the mirrors are adjusted automatically to the correct position for the next journey.
The MM3Z5V6-AQ Zener diode from Diotec Semiconductor stabilizes and regulates the voltage in the control unit for the electronic mirror adjustment. The Zener diode installed has 5.6 V ± 5% at 5 mA of test current, assembled in the SOD-323F package. The part is qualified following AEC-Q101.
