At PCIM 2024, Gerald Deboy from Infineon Technologies Austria AG delivered the keynote „Challenges and Solutions to Power Latest Processor Generations for Hyper Scale Datacenters”. Watch now!
This keynote deals with the challenges created by the extreme power demand by latest processor generations as being used to train large models for Artificial Intelligence and for other use cases in Hyper Scale Datacenters. Very high load currents combined with very fast transients at processor level, lead to changes along the entire power conversion chain from AC/DC power supplies down to the Point-of-load power stages.
