• AGX Series: All-in-1 Regenerative AC/DC Source
• RGS Series: 2-in-1 Regenerative Grid Simulator
• RLS series: Regenerative load simulator

These bidirectional sources and loads emulate real-world conditions that are ideal for testing the utility grid, EV chargers, vehicle-to-grid (V2G), vehicle-to-home (V2H), solar PV/grid-connected inverters, home energy storage systems, avionics power converters, UPS, PDUs and more.

The new SmartRegen® products have an efficiency of more than 90 % and a high power density of up to 21 kVA in a single 4U enclosure, saving costs and space. Thanks to the modular design, these rackable series can be scaled up to 168 kVA / kW power in a single 19” cabinet. Through parallelization, even up to 252kvA can be achieved to meet higher requirements. Voltage ranges include 350VLN / 606VLL in AC mode or ±500Vdc in DC mode with exceptionally high AC capability. The system is fully galvanically isolated with additional protection features to ensure user and DUT safety.

Simultaneous AC and DC operation of modes per phase and automatic switching of output modes provide test engineers with a unique capability and maximum flexibility. Multiple, user-friendly control options give the user complete control of AC and DC test parameters. Engineers and researchers can choose from a wide range of test sequences or easily create their own sequences using the powerful built-in tools for creating custom waveforms and measurements.

In addition, Pacific Power Source's embedded proprietary SmartSource Suite remote control platform provides the most advanced real-time control and analysis on the market today. Full test sequence development and execution via the web browser interface reduces test time.

Regenerative 4-quadrant AC/DC source AGX series: This “all-in-one” test solution is suitable for a wide range of test applications and markets. The multifunctional test system can be used as a fully programmable AC/DC voltage source, current source and electronic load with AC, DC and AC+DC output capability and an extended frequency range up to 3000 Hz.

Regenerative grid simulator RGS series: This next generation “2-in-1” grid simulator is designed for testing and verification of all grid-connected applications. It emulates almost all grid conditions and tests compliance with standards such as IEEE 1547, UL 1741, IEC 61000-3, IEC 61000-4 and others.

Regenerative Load Simulator RLS Series: This four-quadrant AC and DC electronic load is designed for testing all AC and DC load applications. The RLS has multiple AC and DC emulation modes and offers flexible configurations for single-phase, split-phase, three-phase and steady-state or transient operation.
