Dr. Kirill Klein received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from TU Berlin in 2012, specializing in high-frequency and semiconductor technology. From 2013 onwards, he worked as a research associate at Fraunhofer IZM, focusing on the design of fast-switching power modules, covering electromagnetic, thermo-mechanical, system integration, and manufacturing aspects. He earned his PhD from TU Berlin in 2023 with a dissertation on Design and Characterization of Power Modules.

In 2020, he was honored with the Young Engineer Award at PCIM Europe for his paper on “Low Inductive Full Ceramic SiC Power Module for High-Temperature Automotive Applications.” From September 2022 to February 2025, he served as System and Applications Engineering Manager at Wolfspeed. Since 2025, he has been working as a freelance engineer and independent consultant.
